Stop Mass Email from Atlassian to Domain

Is there a way to stop mass emails from Atlassian about account updates done by an administrator? It would be nice to have a warning before a setting is changed that states "All your users are going to get an email (or several) because of this change." It would be even more helpful to have an option to not notify everyone about the change.

Recently we made a change to our Atlassian Organization by verifying our domain. This caused every user in our domain (4000+) to receive an email from Atlassian stating changes were made to that user's account. We also have G Suite configured on our Atlassian Cloud Site. When that sync ran it overrode the Organization settings and sent out another mass email to all our users. Then randomly later the next day all our users received 14 similar emails all within one hour.

This is extremely confusing for our users, especially since 95% of them don't ever log into Atlassian products. They are confused that something is happening with their G Suite account. Every user in our domain has an account so that they can be a customer in Service Desk and raise requests. We did this so that we can authenticate them with Google.  Plus the repeated emails being sent out is unnecessary.

I am unsure if this is the best place to ask this question. I have already left feedback in the Admin portal, but I don't see that going anywhere.

Hi Greg,

Currently, it's not possible to disable the notification for domain verification and GSuite.
The notification is important for them to know that they won't be able to change their information anymore. When a domain is verified or when GSuite is synced, when they login to id.atlassian.com, it will show the information that their full name is set by the administrator, for example.
We have a feature request suggesting the ability to disable the notification:
- https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ID-6429
Please, click on vote and watch to receive updates about the feature.

Regards,
Angélica
