How many Atlassian Access do we need to apply for ?

Hello.

Now we are thinking about using Jira Work Management by 30 people  and also using SAML with Atlassian Access.

I just wondering , how many Atlassian Access accounts do we need ?

Because we worry about other Active Directly users, our Active Directly has 70 people. But actually we will use Jira by 30 people. Thus we don't need to take care about Atlassian Access for other same domain users, is it correct ??

Hello, @jorge.carvalho 

Atlassian Access can only enforce security controls onto the accounts from the domains that you've claimed/verified i.e. "yours".

As such there is nothing you can do with external partners, unless you give them accounts in one of your verified domains.

A good practice is to make their domain distinct from your main one, but keep in mind the resulting email must be usable i.e. reachable – since Cloud will attempt to verify the account by emailing with a link.
