Adding a user to a global permission group

Hi, we would like to add an additional "system-administrator" to our Atlassian environment (running JIRA and Confluence). I have found the global permission groups where you can change the rights for each group. However, I cannot find where to remove or add users to one of these groups.

I think you may have been misdirected.

I suspect you want to raise issues with your IT people, but here, we are a Community of people talking about Atlassian stuff.  We're not your IT people (although they may be here, this is not the place to engage them).

I suggest you might want to talk to your IT people again, they should be referring you to their (your) support request channels, not an external forum.
