Provision Azure Guest users to Atlassian cloud for Jira/Confluence access

We currently have Atlassian Access up and running with Azure and I get Azure users and groups provisioned fine.

What I now tried was having a guest account (for future external contractors) in Azure be provisioned to Atlassian Cloud. Which seems to work fine as well. I have the guest user show up as user in the Atlassian cloud and it also got provisioned into the right group.

The provisioned account has site access. But when I try to log in with said guest account (through the Log in with Microsoft option) I get this error after having gone through the Azure login process :

Hmm... We're having trouble logging you in.

I can use this guest user to log into Teams and SharePoint on the Azure instance so at least that is working.

Any hints/help about that?
