Not able to Deactivate org and site admin account

Am not org. admin and infact the Organization bar is not showing any details at all. Clicking shows nothing.

I guess there are some config limitations issues on cloud?. Am not able to see directory under Organization to be able to:  select Directory and then Managed accounts

Hi Karamba,

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
To remove an organization admin it's necessary that another org admin removes them and then any site-admin will be able to remove the group and delete their account.
I saw that you created a ticket with our support and they already helped you with this issue.
If you have any other question, please let us know.

Regards,
Angélica

Hi Angelica,

We have 2 Org & Site Admin, but unfortunately both of them are left the company. IS anyway I can promote my self to and Org admin then delete them?

Regards,

Tho

I managed to solve this by following these steps provided by Atlassian support:

  1. Contact your IT department to temporarily re-activate the email account of the Org admin. Also, make sure requester has the access of that email
    • Note: Skip step 1 if the email account of Org admin is still active/accessible
    • Though it’s less likely to happen, in the event the request is unable to gain the access of the Org admin email, let me know
  1. Navigate to https://id.atlassian.com/login/resetpassword and key in the current Org admin email address. This would send an email to reset the password for the current Org admin
    • If the Org admin is using G-suite or SAML, suggest the requester to check with their IT department to regain current Org admin credential.
  1. Once the requester has the access to current Org admin email, please advise the requester to login with the current Org admin credential by navigating to https://id.atlassian.com/
  2. Suggest the requester to follow Make a user an Org admin to add the requester as the new Org admin.
    • (Optional) Deactivate the old Org admin email back.
    • If the old Org admin is also Technical/Billing contact, please make sure the requester remove them (see Update Billing contact)
