I am trying to bulk update a group in Jira Cloud, but the only way I can find to update the group is one person at a time. I have a spreadsheet with 150 existing Jira users that need to be added to this group.
I'm okay with pasting big groups of names with some sort of delimited list, but the interface doesn't seem to accept two concatenated user names using a comma or semicolon.
Is there a better way to do this without cracking open the API?
Hi Scott,
Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
Currently, it's not possible to bulk edit or add users to groups. We have some feature requests suggesting the implementation of this ability:
- https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ID-126
- https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-66725
Please, click on vote and watch in order to hear about updates on the development cycle.
In this case, the best option would be using the API but it's necessary to use the accountId to add them.
Regards,
Angélica
