Disabled account cannot be reactivated despite being active in IDP (even from Managed accounts)

Over the weekend one of our accounts was disabled. We are unable to reactivate them.

  • I have tried to reactivate them from Managed Accounts and the option is grey
  • I have checked that the account is active in our Microsoft environment (IDP)
  • I have run a fresh reprovision to see if this resolved the issue but it did not
