Deleted Managed users still appearing on User List in Atlassian Access

Edited

I have a number of users that have had thier accounts deleted in our Okta instance that still appear in the Atlassian access page.

The users atlassian product (bitbucket) has been disabled within the application, however they are still being seen as active on the Atlassian Access system.

Subsequently we are still being charged for these users

Any advice on how to deal with this situation?

Hi @Darren Groom,

While users may have had their access removed from repos that you control in Bitbucket, a user's account is still considered active in Bitbucket, as their may have had access to other repositories as well. If these users have left your company, the simplest thing to do is ensure that their account is disabled from the Managed Accounts page. https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/deactivate-a-managed-account-961259517.html#:~:text=Deactivate%20accounts,account%20you%20want%20to%20delete.

If you want user accounts to be automatically deactivated when they are deleted in Okta, you need to ensure user provisioning with Otka is enabled. https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/configure-user-provisioning-with-okta-957492956.html

Cheers,

Dave
