Change two-step verification device

Hi,

In my orgnazation the two-factor authenticacion is enforced for all users, I use a smartphone with an authentication App for this, but I've to change the two-factor authentication device by a new smartphone and I don't have access to old smartphone anymore, how can I enable the two-factor authentication in the new smartphone and remove the old one?

Thank you!

Thank you for your quick answers! But it was not likely the solution for me.

As in my organization is activated the enforced two factor authentication option for everyone, in order to allow me to change the authentication device, admins had to allow a temporary exception of this rule to my account. Then I was able to set up the two factor authentication with the new smartphone.

Thanks a lot

Dario

I had to Disable 2-step verification then re-enable it with a new phone number.  Couldn't figure out how to change my phone number otherwise.

Hi Dario,

welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Please find information on how to recover access on the following page:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/two-step-verification-976161185.html#Two-stepverification-Recoveryouraccount

Given the fact you are not administrator (org admin) of your organization please reach out to the support team which is responsible for Atlassian Access within your company.

In case you are administrator yourself (org admin) the information linked in the article should be absolutely matching.

Regards,
Daniel
