Can PingIdentity be used with Atlassian Access?

Client already has PingIdentity as an Identity Provider, and wants to integrate this with their Atlassian Cloud instance.

Cannot see support mentioned under documentation for Atlassian Access, wondered if anyone has attempted this?

Thanks.

Hi Richard!

Atlassian Access can be used with any SAML-compliant IdP. This includes PingIdentity. We provide setup instructions and configuration support for a small number of these (and PingIdentity is not one we have specific instructions for).

On the Atlassian Access side, we have some generic instructions that can be used for configuring any IdP. Ping Identity also provides setup guides for creating Service Providers (this is what Atlassian Access will use) in PingFederate.

Cheers,
Daniel
