User not able to authorise Jira to Atlas

Dan_Tombs June 19, 2023

Hey Community,

We have a user that is struggling to authorise the connection from Jira to Atlas to sync projects and issues. However, When they do it in reverse it works just fine. Any thoughts?

Cleared cache etc. Seems to only be a Chrome thing too. Anybody else seeing this?

Hi Dan 🙂 It's a Chrome issue we have seen before, and we have managed to resolve it in the past by:

1. Resetting the site permissions - you can do this by clicking on the lock icon to the left of the URL -> site settings -> reset permissions.

2. In your Chrome settings under "Privacy and security", uncheck "Block third party cookies"

You might need to restart your Chrome after making these changes for them to take effect!

Hope that helps! 🤞

Haven't come across this. Did you try clearing cookies and local storage as well? Or try in privacy mode.

Otherwise it might be a case for Atlassian support.

Yeah we did try the usual support stuff. Cookies etc. It is a chrome issue only by the looks of it but wondering if any of the other community members had seen similar. Wondering if it is a bug in Chrome or Atlas you know.
