Is it possible to have a set number of tags?

Hi Team!

We really like the tags feature especially its power around reporting use cases which will do well for our organisation.

Is it possible to limit the number of tags or control the ability on who is able to create tags?

Our reason are:

• We really like the tag feature and for our use case it will be great in the reporting use cases space.
• We believe that for the tags to be adopted and used for this purpose it would be better to have a set standard in place to keep consistency. 
• Without this and keeping it open to all we are going to end up with a tag management problem across the organisation and in the end we feel that tags won't be adopted

If there is no way to do this now and tags are always open to all users then it would be really awesome to add a feature that allows for a limited type of implementation

Thanks for the feedback. I totally agree with your suggestion! We definitely do need to provide a more centralised way to curate and manage tags. Doing so is in our backlog, so I'll share your feedback with the relevant team and work with them to get these improvements prioritised.
