Bug with Message Custom Field (for edit) Module Enabled

The Message Custom Field (for edit) module of the JIRA Toolkit Plugin disables the ability to Bulk Change the Comments field.  The Comments field during Bulk Edit is hidden.

The workaround we did was to disable this module. 

Could you please find a fix for this?

Any update from Atlassian on this please?  I am unable to submit a Bug Report in the Atlassian Support website because it says my username does not have the "Assign Issues" permission.

If I submit a Support Request, the required "Summary" field is not visible.
