Can ScriptRunner for Jira find information from a confluence team calendar?

I would like to create a ScriptRunner script to check to see if a date on my issue is identified on my Team Calendar and if so, send email or create a comment with additional information.
My example, we enter MCP (Minimal Change Periods) on our Team Calendar. So, if the issue's Production Deployment Date is set for a day indicated as MCP, an email/comment is create requiring addition information be provided.
