Behaviours field displayed multiple or many times

Has anyone noticed this problem?  If you put behaviour on a required custom field on creation, but don't add a value to that field, the field will be added again to the dialog each time you a click the create button. For each press of Create the field is added again and again and again. So suddenly the dialog starts to fill up with the same field displayed lots and lots of times.
