📂Fast filtering of many issues at once with Epic Sum Up

With our new Epic Sum Up Version, we have introduced a very fast way to filter issues in Jira and see a live summary at the same time. This new feature is called the ‘Summed Values Row’. It’s the first row in our Detail View Editor.

But what is the use case? We’ve added the feature mainly for a live summary of JQL filter results for example if you need a summary of multiple projects at once. Now you can type in any JQL filter result, click the ‘Show in Detail View Editor’ button and you get a live summary of all your filtered issues. See an example below.

The summed values row can also come in handy when you filter and sort the issues of a particular project. Say for example you only want a summary of the issues still in progress. For that you can use the Epic Sum Up filter function, remove all issues with the status ‘Done’ and now the summed values row shows you a live summary of only the issues of your project that are still ‘In progress’. You can see how it looks below.

With the summed values row of Epic Sum Up you can get a live summary of many issues at once at any given time.

By the way:

In this release we have also released our dashboard gadget for Data Center and Server and added a few onboarding tools to give you an easier start into Epic Sum Up.
