My go to apps are

  • Script Runner
  • Tempo
  • JMWE
  • Issue Templates for Jira
  • Time in Status
  • Draw.io
  • Content Formatting

Recently came across lots of interesting apps in Teams '24 Europe.

I might be a little biased here (who isn't based on the comments 😄), but even though there are apps specifically built for certain teams and use cases—whether it's product ideation, testing, or capacity planning—most apps, especially in Confluence, can be used by all teams.

Here at Vectors, we look to build on Confluence's capabilities (obviously, Glossary and FAQ for Confluence are staples for us). We rely on Content Formatting to properly format pages (with a touch of AI as well), use ideation for Confluence to compliment both whiteboards and JPD, and more.

Other apps we use across the board include OKR apps such as Upraise to manage team OKRs, leaves, and more.

Polls for Jira was recently launched this year. We couldn't quite believe that there wasn't already an app out there that allowed you to create polls and schedule events in Jira! Needless to say, we're seeing this being used across ALL different types of teams out there!

@Steve Long -Evelon- -

Interesting add-on you presented.  However, we will need further documentation in regards to Integration with Jira process as it mentioned "

  • Read Jira project and issue data, search for issues, and objects associated with issues like attachments and worklogs.

This is a major concern when content security is the utmost importance to many companies.

My favourite confluence app for all teams (I may be biased as my team developed but its great!)  which can help with onboarding and navigating through confluence is  Guided-pathways-decision-trees-page-navigation-journeys its not only great for onboarding - hello HR but you can use it for people or products. We also use it internally for training guides and sometime for a fun game!

Ofc GitProtect.io Backups for Jira Cloud ! When it comes to apps that can be used across all teams, my absolute favorite is Projectrak in Jira. At Antolin, it’s been a game-changer for our IT department. We’ve completely transformed how we manage our project portfolio by centralizing everything within Jira Cloud, and Projectrak has been the key to making that happen. 🚀

So, what makes it stand out? First, it has allowed us to unify our system of work for IT project managers and the PMO. Before Projectrak, we had project data scattered across three different systems, making it hard to keep track of things. Now, everything lives in one place—Jira and Projectrak. 📂 This means teams and managers can easily access all key project information, whether they’re focused on tasks 📝 or taking a high-level view of the entire portfolio.

Challenge View

What I love most is how customizable it is. Projectrak gives us tailored views that work at every level of the organization. Need to see metrics? 📊 Check. Want to track data across multiple projects? ✅ Easy. It’s not just about making things easier for the teams on the ground; it also translates the daily work into an executive-friendly language, ensuring that the people in the decision-making seats are seeing what really matters. 💼

In short, Projectrak has helped us get organized, stay aligned, and focus on what really matters in our IT projects. It’s a powerhouse tool that I’d recommend to any team looking to get more from their Jira Cloud setup. 💡

@Whitney Nicholes sorry I'm not sure if we posted our demo correctly for this promo because it has not appeared in the voting hub for All Teams. Could you please look at this for me and tell me if we need to do anything?

Here is our demo post from last week:  https://community.atlassian.com/t5/App-Central-discussions/Apptoberfest-Demo-Jira-Config-Migrations-from-Auckland-to/td-p/2841207#M5728

Draw.io for sure and also Colors for Jira by Tempo. Also while it is not an app, it is a tool and I can't say enough about the Atlassian Team Playbook.

If you're looking for a tool to streamline creating Jira tasks, our Easy Issue Templates is a fantastic choice.

 1. Issue Creation.png

Before, our team was manually creating issues, which took a lot of time, especially with complex epics. Now, with pre-filled templates, we save tons of time and maintain consistency. 📝 You can easily create custom templates, reuse them for recurring tasks, and even handle complex issue hierarchies like epics with subtasks. 🧩

2. Boost Productivity.png

Our app offers fantastic simplicity and customization. Whether creating a bug report, onboarding a new team member, or building out an epic with linked tasks, Easy Issue Templates handles it seamlessly. Every team member, from developers to project managers, benefits from a clear, organized process. 💼 It’s especially useful for teams working in Agile or ITSM environments, giving them the freedom to focus on what matters instead of getting bogged down with repetitive tasks.

3. Customize templates.png

If you want a tool to make Jira work, I highly recommend checking out Easy Issue Templates for Jira. It’s a time-saver, a game-changer, and perfect for anyone looking to optimize their workflow in Jira. 💡

Would you have any questions or suggestions - don’t hesitate to reach out! We’d be more than happy to chat about how we can help.

May have missed someone mentioning it here, but Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards significantly extends our ability to glean insights from our data center Jira instances.

A difficult choice, but I admit that everything that has to do with Tempo fascinates me because I consider it useful and incredible.

@Whitney Nicholes -

Is there a consolidated listing of all the apps that each commenters that we can access from one posting, or we just have to scroll through all the comments to find them to review those apps.

Thanks for your time in advanced.

Checklists for Jira Pro, is very handy app being used by ALL teams who wants to stay organized and streamline task management with smart checklists. Teams can create checklists with user mentions, due dates, hyperlinks, emojis and can Integrate checklists with automation as well.

Probably Tempo Timesheets... There should be more possibilities for worklog reporting in Jira natively...
