Hello, Atlassian Community! I'm Fede Baronti, Partner Manager at Deiser (Marketplace Partner), and we're back with another exciting Apptoberfest demo!
Last year, we showed you how Budgety could help track post-project celebration (lots of beers!) costs. This year, we're taking it to the next level with a demo that's sure to be a MARVELous (?) hit!
Introducing: The Iron Budget initiative
In this demo, we reimagined Tony Stark's process of managing the budget and tracking costs using Jira and Budgety while building his suits with the assistance of F.R.I.D.A.Y.
As Tony Stark always says, "The suit and I are one." But have you ever wondered, "How much does it cost to be one with such an advanced piece of tech?"๐ค
This shows how easy it is to track costs and manage the budget carried on the Iron Man suit production because even superheroes need to keep an eye on their expenses, even if they donโt need to!
On this Budgety demo, you can see how it helps to:
๐ฐ Set a project budget for each suit variant and track expenses in real time.
๐ฆพ Assign owners for different suit components (repulsors, AI systems, weapons systems).
๐Categorize expenses as Direct, Indirect, CAPEX, or OPEX costs.
๐ธ Assign expenses to specific suit features or upgrades for detailed tracking.
๐ Generate reports to analyze suit costs and adjust budgets as needed.
Besides, you need to know, that Budgety also assists you, almost as F.R.I.D.A.Y. would do, too:
Associate budgets to different issue types: From projects to issues, each budget can link those issues to the budgets youโre controlling for better visualization.
Keep the data updated in real-time: Itโs possible to refresh those costs with inputted hours and have accurate information at the minute, as it happens.
Get better visibility: When setting budgets for campaigns or projects, use Budgety within the issue to create and add costs conveniently.
Control permissions: NEW Now itโs possible to control who can administrate (delete and add costs) those budgets of importance for the projects or issues.
We'd like to thank the Stark Industries team for their cooperation and the Deiser team for their outstanding work on this superhero-sized challenge
Remember, whether you're building iron suits or iron-clad project plans, Budgety has got you covered. It's not just about saving the world โ it's about saving on costs while you do it!
Learn more about Budgety in the Atlassian Marketplace and may your projects be as successful as an Avengers mission! Happy ๐ฆธโโ๏ธ๐Apptoberfest๐๐ฆธโโ๏ธ to everyone!
DISCLAIMER: โ ๏ธNo actual Iron Man suits or Tony Stark bank accounts were harmed in the making of this demo. For legal reasons, we must clarify that Budgety has not yet tested for vibranium-based budgets or infinity stone purchases.โ ๏ธ
