Alternative to Issue Collector

Issue Collector is in essence what I need (though, only for authenticated users), however it's buggy with IE at the moment (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-29414?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel) which makes it a dealbreaker for now. So I need an alternative to that.

I was thinking about giving a direct link to http://JIRAURL:8080/secure/CreateIssue.jspa but it wants users to manually input project and issue type. Is it possible to pass those as arguments somehow maybe?

I am also considering creating a custom page via plugin that'd contain all the fields users need to fill, then create the issue through plugin and redirect user to it. This approach, however, forces me to update issue creation screen AND plugin code whenever there are changes (new field, order, different descriptions, etc) to the input elements. Is it maybe possible to get HTML code in plugin for each field that's on certain screen?

you may want to check out the answer posted in this question. It fixed all the problems i was having with the issue collector, and it appears to have done the same for some others.

You can also try Jirassimo IntakeForms. This can be embedded on any website.

We are using http://usersnap.com it integrates very well with JIRA and it also creates a screenshot without any plugin to each ticket! It's very easy to install... yeah and works nice!
