What is the best way to archive completed tasks in Kanban using Jira Software?

I would like to know the correct way to archive tasks that are in the completed status.

Hi,

You can use release and add a version to your release by pressing "Release" at the top of your "Done" column. (it is the best way). Check this link

Also, you can write a filter for your board. To do this, you need the right to edit this board.

In the filter, specify which tasks to show on the board and in what statuses, for example, you can only show tasks that have been Done for the last 7 days, and hide the rest.
