Is there a way of stopping users from being able to move an issue back a step on workflow?

Hi, we have setup four fields, backlog, To Do-aprroved, In Process, Closed. Managers need to sign off on items that in the Backlog field before they go into the To Do-approved field. But the problem is that users are able to move them back into the Backlog field in the on the board. Is there a way of stopping them from doing this? thanks

yes of course

you can add a condition to the transition so that only users of a specific group can transist the issue backwards.
