Which custom field type uses Jira markup?

When I open the Portfolio project and see my plan 

I select the active Jira ticket and the display panel shows the details

in the Details is a description field.

 

Can I make the description field use the internal Markup language so I can add bolding or colors or stylize lettering

 

you can see the HTML jpo-description-region tag and the content is populated from the the JIRA as plan text in the jpc-editable-component tag, but it does not translate the Markup language. The the Jira description field is using.

This is not currently available for the description fields in Portfolio.
