View the total amount of story points for all tasks/stories/bugs within an Epic

In Jiras "Plan" view I would like to view the total amount of story points for all tasks/stories/bugs within an Epic. Today I can only see a graphical presentation of total number of story points ("Progress (story points)", where the story point defined for the Epic itself is included. In "Progress (issue count)" the Epic is not included, why does that differ?

Summary of wish list:
1. The Epic itself should not be included in "Progress (story points)"
2. A numerous field should be available for the story point summation

Is this possible?screenshot-1.pngimage-2020-11-25-15-02-09-424.pngimage-2020-11-25-15-03-14-612.png

I can only see remaining points, not total number of points including the ones set to done. That is what I want to compare with (like the "Progress (story points)" bar.

Just from personal experience, I haven't seen this feature and see multiple posts from users requesting for a rollup of story points - planned vs actual and so on. I assume this is supposed to be part of JIRA Align's capability.
