Use JIRA default Links (e.g. refer to) for Portfolio hierarchy

Deleted user Jan 30, 2018

Dear all,

is there a possibility to use the JIRA default Link mechanism for parent-child links.

Currently our setup use the JIRA default Links (e.g. refer to)

Project Product A (Product Stories)
  - Project Software Comp A (User Stories)
  - Project Software Comp B

Project Product B
  - Project Software Comp A
  - Project Software Comp X
  - Project Software Comp Y

We are thinking about to switch to Portfolio. But then we have to move all existing links to the portfolio - parent-child links.

Or is there a way to use the JIRA default links for the JIRA Portfolio hierarchy?

Hi @[deleted],

Portfolio currently does not support using the jira issue links for hierarchies above epic, you can have a look at some of the discussion and workaround here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JPOSERVER-1663

Cheers,

Thomas
