Tasks of an Epic are not appearing under the Epic. Epic is apprearing as a task in the list

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
I work on a Team Managed Project, created a Board using Filter of that Project. Created Advanced Roadmap Plan using the Board as a source. Now I see the list of tasks but when I choose the Hierarchy from Epic to Tasks-> the Epics appear as tasks and I am unable to group the tasks under their respective Epics
