Hi @Sofia Foradoula

earlier I learned to auto-scheduling relies heavily on "Remaining Estimate" and it is capable of setting Due Dates/End Dates, if configured properly.

The following thread helped me a lot in understanding the mechanism better:
https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/Simple-dependency-chain-auto-scheduling-in-Advanced-Roadmaps/qaq-p/1638895

Sub-tasks were touched there also and I learned it is not possible for everything the users could think of.

Please also review the documentation:
https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/configure-the-auto-scheduler-in-advanced-roadmaps/

Cheers,
Daniel
