How is it possible to move multiple timelines at the same time in Jira Plans?

Example: Delay in the project - all downstream tasks are also moved.

Unfortunately, it does not work via dependencies (blocked by or blocks). Also, as researched, the CTRL/STRG multiple selection does not work either.

Is there an easy way to move several tasks? Many thanks for your help!

Best regards Christian Brandl

@Christian Brandl ,

Welcome to the community! I believe you should be able to accomplish this by doing the following:

1) Check the checkbox of one of the items in your plan

2) Then, while holding the SHIFT-key, select the checkbox of the upper/lower issue of your desired selection - it should multi-select like seen on the screenshot below

3) Click 'bulk actions' button above

4) Choose 'Dates'

5) Follow the prompts

Caveat: You'll likely be wanting to move the existing 'duration' of items (for instance, 2 weeks, or 4 weeks, etc). I think that'll be quite difficult this way, but you should give it a try!

Thanks for the Information!
But like you mentioned below - all timelines will be in the same date-range.
Important to me is, that I can shift all timelines with their space between.
Means that they shall have their same duration, like: after workpackage A follows workpackage B.

I have the same question. Despite the fact JIRA could track dependency, but it does not seem to act like MS Project where moving one task would trigger cascade effect to the dependants.
