How to get sub-task to show up in an advanced roadmap (jira plan)

I am using a filter for all tickets from a project with a label to populate an advanced roadmap (jira plan)

the sub-task shows up on filter (query) when run but non in advanced roadmap (jira plan) under Feature>WorkItem or Story > Sub-task  (only Work Items or Story show up under Feature)

Hierarchy set to Feature to (Story or Sub-Task)

What is trick ?   

Is it a setting in config for plan?

Is it a setting in Core Jira administration for a project ?

I dont have a box to uncheck nor have a none for choice for hierarchy.

I have tried every mix/match    in dropdowns but the sub-task continue not to show up in Advanced roadmap but as noted show in query

To only show issues that match your query, deselect the Show full hierarchy checkbox. This should allow you to only see the issues that match your query in the Advanced Roadmap.
