How do i block out assigning tickets to an assignee when they are on leave?

How do i block out assigning tickets to an assignee when they are on leave?

When some one goes on leave or is on sick leave, how can we block the triage person from assigning the tickets to that person for the duration they are not at work?

This functionality for team member was available in the live plan mode (AR 2.0 to 2.7).  In the new improved plan (AR 3.x on-ward), the individual capacity mgmt was removed. 

In this AR page -, you will see a statement stating that 


The following features and functionality are no longer supported in the improved interface:

  • Virtual users
  • Stages and skills
  • Individual capacity management


In the older "Live Plan" there was the functionality allowing planner to control/manage individual capacity - i.e controlling the team members calendar.  Now "Team Capacity" planning has replaced the "Individual Capacity" planning.

I would recommend you to submit a formal Atlassian Support Case to ask how to achieve a workaround solution.
