Disable improved interface in Advance Roadmaps 8.20

New plans are are created with the new interface. In the past we had the possibility to "Disable improved interface" in the settings of a plan. Now it only works for older plans but not for new created plans. Is their a possibility to "Disable improved interface" for new created plans?

Hello, Sebastian,

It is not possible change the interface to the legacy mode for new plans. That is part of the effort to phase out the legacy plans which will no longer be supported in Jira 9.

We can confirmed what @Filipi Lima stated as we also submitted formal ask to Atlassian Support in the past.  As far as I know, this change came in after 8.16.x -

After upgrading to Jira 8.16+

• If the users created a plan before upgrading to Jira 8.16+ (= existing plan), they can disable the improved interface to access the Live Plans interface, or enable the improved interface when they use the Live Plans interface. They can switch between both interfaces as much as they want.

• If the users create a new plan on Jira 8.16+, they cannot disable the improved interface to access the Live Plans interface. They only have access to the improved interface on that plan. This was done purposefully to steer customers away from the legacy Live Plans interface.

On our end, we have already communicated to our user community on asking them to change their existing plans (one that still using the Live plan mode) to Improved UI plan.  This allows them to get familiar and operates via the Improved UI into their business processes ASAP.

Our problem is, that we cannot use the new planning interface for our usecases. Is their a possibility to go back to an older version of Advanced Roadmaps? Otherwise we have to switch directly to another tooling.
