Creating an issue from the Advanced Roadmap does not add a number

I have tried both Eric and Stories in creating issues directly from the Advanced Roadmap by clicking on the "Create Issue" link. While it will create the Epic and show it, there is no issue number and therefore trying to open it does not work, and looking in the issues or backlog that ticket does not exist. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Grace Cupat ,

When you are working in an Advanced Roadmaps plan, all the changes you make there are initially done in sandbox mode. You need to actually commit these changes to Jira before they will become visible there.

In the top right corner of your screen, there is a big button Review Changes. Clicking that button will open up an overview of all changes you made that haven't been saved to Jira yet.

Clicking Save selected changes in Jira there will create the issue and assign the key. After that, you should be able to view them as expected.

Hope this helps!

Thank you! Exactly the answer I was looking for
