Can custom fields be included in the estimation calculations in JIRA portfolios?

If we added a field for number of people with a certain skill required at the initiative level, is there any way to include that in the capacity and resource planning aspect of Portfolio?

Hi @sandbox3_jira_opt_user,

Unfortunately at this time there is no way to include a custom field as a factor in the estimation calculations. 

Could you help me understand more the problem you're trying to solve? I'm trying to think if there are any alternatives in Portfolio.
