As Admin How do I edit status field?

Currently cant edit Status field in Prortfolio

@Wayne_Poitras  - I'm on Jira Server v8.3.1 with Portfolio for Jira 3.9.0 and I cannot edit the status either. I believe this is intentional as portfolio is aggregated data across one or many projects/boards/ect and status is changed through jira workflow & transitions, not as a field. 

When your issues move through the workflow the status is changed. The article below shows that "Portfolio can show the up-to-date status of issues as they move through their Jira workflow" and does not mention any ability to edit the status: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiraportfoliocloud/tracking-status-and-progress-of-issues-828785247.html

Bummer. Portfolio is a handy way to quickly review and update status with team at a high-level.
