I have an Epic which needs to be expanded to include another Story (the Story will then be defined by several Tasks). I can see where I can Link the Story to the Epic; but, my intention was to include it with the existing mix. How do I accomplish that?
Hi @Christo4,
In terms of linking a story to an epic, this can be done...
In Jira: View the story, and go into "edit" view (shortcut E). There should be a field "Epic link" which you can then set.
In portfolio: Click on the issue key for your story, the in the details panel choose the parent epic you want the story to belong to. You will need to commit your changes to Jira before you can see this updated in Jira. This name may appear different to what in Jira because one uses Epic name vs Epic title can be different.
However, we weren't quite sure what you meant by "existing mix". Could you clarify what you mean?
Please let me know if the above doesn't help
Thanks,
Sam
