It appears that Epic to be counted as taking par in week has to start before actual week starts. For example in this case it seems that weeks start from Sunday and if I have epic starting on Monday it will not count as part of calculated week. Sunday will not be good either it has to start on Saturday.
It looks like a bug for me, but maybe it can be reconfigured somewhere. I'm attaching video as an example:
I can't see a bug there, but I'm not entirely sure what I'm supposed to be looking for. If something starts on a Saturday, it's part of the previous week, no matter whether your week starts on Sunday or Monday.
But I would want to check what the date settings are - go to Admin -> Look and Feel and check what the setting for ISO8<something> is - ideally it should be enabled, so that Jira sees Monday as the first day of the week.
