Are there detailed steps/set-up recommendations to set-up a multi-team advanced roadmap?

As described above, I'm looking to find a combination of tools (labels, initiatives etc) in Advanced Roadmaps that allows me to bring in Epics from many different teams and organize them based on being parts of the same project. Ideally, would like to see; top-level issue type that groups all the epics (one epic per team), each epic able to expand down and reveal all user stories, and user stories able to expand to sub-tasks.

We currently use an island Jira project as the place we create host epics for these types of projects but have just linked all epics to this one in the past. Evidently, with the advanced roadmaps, we're hoping to be able to have an overview of an initiative and asses each teams contribution (progress, issues per team etc).
