Hi
I've been using Jira Advanced Roadmaps in the new interface for a month or two. Am now starting to experiment more with scheduling and dependencies.
From my experiments, it seems that JAR only acknowledges and displays the "blocks/is blocked by" links between two items. There are many alternative link types, for example, "has to be done before" or "has to be finished together with", which are in some ways more descriptive than "blocks". However, as far as I can tell, only "block" links are shown on JAR as linking two issues.
Is it possible to show link types other than "blocks" on JAR?
Which link types affect how the auto-scheduler works?
Thanks!
The 'Blocks/is blocked by' issue link is the default one being considered by Advanced Roadmaps, but it is possible to add/remove issue link types to be loaded and considered as dependencies by Advanced Roadmaps.
Documentation on this: https://confluence.atlassian.com/advancedroadmapsserver/configuring-issue-dependencies-802170496.html
Cheers,
Thomas
