We are using Advanced Roadmap and want to share out the plan with our none licensed business units. However, whenever we send them a link, it redirects back to the portal page.

It's not possible to share a link to a plan with people who aren't licensed Jira users. If you're wanting to share your plan externally, the best way to do that is to export the plan as a png. You can do this by selecting "Share Plan" from the top right hand corner of your Plan, then selecting the "Image (.png)" tab.
