Scriptrunner Count the number of Stories Linked to an Epic

I apologize if this has already been asked (I searched and could not find the questioned asked).

I would like to count the number of Stories that are Linked to an epics, and then count how many are closed.

I can get a count of all tickets linked to an Epic, but have not been able to figure out how to just get a count of the Stories.

~Thank you, Jim

Hello Jim.

Do you want this as a scripted field? Or do you want this as a JQL function? Your question confuses me a bit.

If you want this to be a scripted field, it is relatively easy. If you want a JQL it might be a bit harder.

Cheers!
