Hi,
we have the following situation:
Users leaving the company are first marked to be deleted in AD. The result for the Jira user is being deactivated ->good!
After a period of 4 weeks, users in AD marked to be deleted are deleted - I know, that's not good, but it's company policy which I cann't change. If the Jira user had made any comments or owns filters, boards etc their already inactive user is marked with an [x] behind the user display name ->good
If the jira user has done nothing in Jira, he is completly gone -> good
The bad thing is, that usernames in AD are used again at some point of time. The result is the reactivation of the inactive and [x]-marked Jira user.
So my question is, if there is any chance of renaming inactive [x]-marked users via scriptrunner, so that a new AD-user with same username does not inherit all entities of the person who has left the company.
Thank you!
