Hi,
On Export Selected Project, when we select "Only configuration" and select " ALL Scrum and Kanban Board" Option, does this include Sprints?
Or, does the sprint is include with "Configuration and Data" option?
As we try with the first option, while Importing it is continuously throwing Sprint Not found error, where as the sprint exists in the source instance.
Any help would be great!
Hi Ranganathan,
Taking a look at the documentation it does not specify whether or not a Sprint is exported in this configuration:
"Scrum and Kanban boards to export" acts in a similar way. It lets you select which Agile boards will be included in the export. The available options are:
- None (default): no Agile board will be exported.
- Associated to exported projects: Agile boards that are linked to any of the exported projects will be included in the export. Boards associated to a project appear under the project name at the project navigation panel (see an example image here).
- All Scrum and Kanban boards: all Agile boards existing in the instance will be exported, regardless of their relation to the exported projects.
Export of Agile boards requires that JIRA Agile plugin (in JIRA 6) or JIRA Software application (in JIRA 7) are enabled. Otherwise, no Agile board will be exported (even if you requested something else).
Here's what I did find in their documentation regarding Sprints:
Complete projects
If exporting or exporting complete projects (i,e, their configuration, data and attachments), the following object types will be handled, in addition to the previous list of configuration objects:
- Issues, including all their parts like:
- Comments
- Worklogs
- Change history
- ...
- Attachments
- Issue links
Only on JIRA 7, if the source data contains sprint and ranking information (JIRA Software) this will be transferred too
Hopefully that helps.
Cheers,
Branden
