How to Auto set Reporter's Manager as Approver in Jira Service Desk

Hi,

I am trying to set Reporter's Manager as Approver for Issue Types Service Request with Approval 
I am fetching Reporter's Manger Details (Name,Email Address, ID) from an Employee Database or using a LDAP query.

When a User Raises a Request with Approval,  His Manager should be assigned as Approver without User selecting the Approver himself.

As far as I know this is not possible with Jira built in functionality. You cannot create relations between users other than putting them in a group. Maybe with an external database and some plugins. It’s just an educated guess I have never tried it but this plugin looks promising:
