Kudos couldn't be given to me or Brant Schroeder directly in our profiles previously, and the panel showing Peer Recognition was missing for both of us. I thought it was because we were Kudos Millionaires because it worked for me until I became a millionaire. But then when John Funk and Tomislav Tobijas became millionaires I saw that kudos could be given to them in their profiles and their profiles still show their Peer Recognition panel.

That is still broken in the new forum.

That is what I'm seeing too - I know the auto-population was our own customization and as you know we've been trying to reduce tech debt and not customize as much. The reason we needed that was in part because of duplicate usernames - but HLV doesn't allow duplicate usernames so @ mentioning should get more reliable in general. But more to come on this as we verify the expected behavior, thank you both.

Also I went to an old link from an email to see if it still worked but got Page Not Found 😥

To keep our community safe, fast, and secure, direct file uploads and attachments are restricted. However, you can still share images, diagrams, and visual references in your posts and replies!

How to add an image:
Images in posts must be hosted on an existing web page or image host.
1. Copy directly from a webpage:
Find the image on the web.
Right-click the image and select Copy Image (or Copy Image Address).
In the post editor, paste (Ctrl+V on Windows or Cmd+V on Mac).

2. Insert by Image URL:
Right-click any web-hosted image and select Copy Image Address.
Paste the link directly into the post editor, and the image preview will load automatically.

Important tip on screenshots & local files:

Pasting directly from screenshot/snipping tools (or dragging files from your desktop) requires direct file uploads and will trigger a Permission Problem error.
To share a screenshot, please upload it to an image hosting service or cloud drive, then paste the public image link or copy the image from your browser.

@Monique van den Berg, This is going to be an issue because, at least at my company, all image hosting services/cloud storage sites are blocked for security reasons. My ITSEC team is not going to allow https://imgur.com just so I can post a screenshot in these community forums, nor from my company-hosted cloud storage either (that can't be made public.) I suspect I am not alone in that restriction.

I hope a solution to copy/paste an image directly will be made available eventually. Thank you.

In my profile I click the link for the count of My Posts and got a new page with more analytics info on it.

For "Posts" under Analytics (bottom left) I see the number I used to see for Total Posts in the old forum.

Below my avatar on the right I see "Posts" and "Comments". Between them they add up to the total posts number.

So it seems that "Posts" on our profile home page now means something different. Would that be maybe posts that we started, with our comments on other people's posts counted separately?

Likes and Accepted Solutions on my profile home page still show zero though, like none of the historic Likes and Accepted Solutions are being counted.

Hi everyone,

I have a question about the changes to the Community profile with the new interface

Before the migration, my profile showed Rising Star as my Community recognition. After the new interface was released, it now shows Specialist instead.

Could someone clarify what happened to the Rising Star recognition? Is it still part of the Community recognition system, and is Specialist a new profile level, a designation related to certifications, or something else?

I’d also be interested to understand how the new Contributor, Rising Star, Specialist, and Community Champion concepts relate to each other in the new Community experience.

Hey @Claire Lamberto! I think I figured out two of your issues: one is that the view count is now on the main page (not in the article). In your screenshot you're not logged in so I don't know if you see this the same way?

And it looks like you need to hit the Resolve button to make the blue highlights go away (the orange triangle warning says 'Unresolved' if you hover over it):

I can't speak to the author's image or the paragraph weirdness, I just saw those two things and thought I'd see if they helped!

In the editor, Link and Insert Embed have the exact same icon.

Also…. Not necessarily a bug. But a series of questionable UX/UI decisions.

When

only 3 posts previews fit on over 1200 pixels (see screenshot from my Macbook),
actual post's text is too small, preventing users from adjusting browser zoom settings,
there are 9 unique design elements in ever post (that differ in font, size, color, and style),
and most of the screen real estate is empty,

the overall design defies the very purpose of a community forum - browse, find, and engage.

A full HD screen (vertical 1080 px), which is the most common screen size used in the world today, users would not see a single post preview in its entirety. And mind, the next 5 most popular resolutions are even smaller.

This choice forces users to scroll excessively just to browse and find the content they want to interact with.

It's hard to read (low contrast text content clashes with visually dominant tags and labels) and it's hard to navigate (too much scrolling in the wasteland of the background color).

I’m genuinely surprised that uploading or pasting an image is not supported. This feels like a significant limitation and, from a usability perspective, a considerable step backward. ☹️ Being able to quickly attach screenshots is essential when reporting issues, explaining problems, or providing context, so its absence makes the experience unnecessarily cumbersome.

Minor UI bug in the Kudos dropdown
When opening the Kudos dropdown while on the search page, there are a UI bug in the search fields in for giving Kudos ("Who do you want to recognize?" and "Why do you want to recognize them?").

I am not getting the notifications (in app and email) based on my notification preferences.
The filters even when bookmarked, resets and returns to the original unfiltered url.
And as reported by many others, profile doesnt include my earlier count of accepted solutions.

In the old forums, we had the "search alerts" feature which I used heavily to track certain keywords across the whole community. IIRC, it was shared that the first version of the new community won't have this functionality. Are there any more concrete plans to bring it back?

As a workaround if you copy name directly from post, it will be pasted directly as profile link ( same way as you copy other embedded links )

Article: is Standard Community Article which anyone can write like Community members, Champions, Community Leaders, and Atlassian staff.
Partner Article: is written by verified Atlassian Solution Partners and Marketplace App Vendors.

Unfortunately, regular members and Champions cannot directly toggle or modify this classification.

Unfortunately here are 3 links that I am seeing that are still not redirecting for me:

There may be others, but I think these particular links may have been posted right at the beginning of the lockdown period and I set a reminder to go back to them and like/watch.

Then my numbers are all showing zero for answers, accepted solutions, and likes… but I see a lot of people reporting that and so I figure you all are working on it. You can just give my a super large number of likes if you want as a placeholder, ha.

Oh, and the new Success Champion role is not showing on me even though I am a Success Champion, but maybe I can check in with others on that piece. Thanks!
