Michael Yaroshefsky - Visor for Jira · Answer

Hi, @Hila Lr I can see how organizing your board by parents of epics would be useful; it looks like this is on the cards for Jira, but from what Walter says, we may be waiting a while!

You can do this now using Visor, the app I created (Visor), which has a two-way integration with Jira.

Once you have connected Visor and Jira, you just need to add a custom field in Visor (called initiative or epic parent, for example). Then, you can use that field as your swimlane in a Visor Kanban board.

You can also combine multiple projects on the same Visor Kanban board, which, given your question, might also be useful for you.

Visor is free to use, so give it a try (link below). If it works or doesn't work for you, don't hesitate to let me know why, as I'd be interested to know!

Hope this helps!

Hi @Hila Lr and welcome to the Community!

There is a feature request for this in the backlog that you can track here: JSWCLOUD-18413. It is not closed, but also not committed to for now to implement in the near future.

Hope this helps!
