How can I disable automations from sending emails?

Hello,

Currently, our users are being sent two emails whenever an issue is closed. One from our comments stating that the issue is being closed and another from JIRA's automation that also confirms that the issue is being moved to done. Is there a way to disable this function so that our users are not getting two emails whenever an issue is closed? I've already checked the automation tab to see if the check box to send notifications has been turned off. This is a change we want to make for all users in a project and not just one individual person.

Thanks for your speedy reply. I've already checked to make sure that it's been checked off. That doesn't seem to be the problem.
