Can you setup notifications on a team members Jira when they are on leave?

Hi Everyone,

 

Is is possible to have notifications setup on Jira's assigned to a team member who is on leave?

This would be so when can see customer/user makes an updates on ticket, we who are not assigned or not participants can see these updates.

 

Or is there a work around anyone currently does?
