Trevan Householder_Isos-Tech-Consulting_

Hello all, I'm Trevan from Queen Creek, Arizona, USA.

With my free time, I spent time cycling and with my family. Last week, I completed a 10-day cycling trek across India, from Chennai to Kochi (roughly 1000K/~600 miles).
At work, I am a Functional Lead - working solo on Jira/JSD implementation projects or as a team lead on large migration projects - all centered around the Atlassian toolset.
Hmmm, I don't have just one: "Carpe Diem", "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.", "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again."
I answer Community questions to give back, and also to pay it forward.

I began using Atlassian tools back in 2014 and for the past 3 years have focused exclusively on Jira Service Desk/Jira/Confluence/Portfolio (in that order).

I'm currently certified by Atlassian in JSD, Jira, and Workflows.

I've spent 20+ years in Software (Product Mgr, Dev Mgr, CSM, Product Owner, Professional Services Mgr) and in Operations/IT (Network Admin, Sr. Systems Admin, Project Admin).

Michael Kuhl {Appfire}

HI All - I'm Michael from Buda, TX (right on the Austin city limits). I've been an Atlassian fanboy for 7+ years starting out as an admin, doing some consulting, and now I'm product manager for the Bob Swift Atlassian CLI at Appfire #dreamjob.

Favorite quote: "The dose makes the poison."

Why I answer questions: As an Atlassian third party app product manager I need to stay grounded in the everyday work life of Atlassian admins. Answering questions keeps my Atlassian skills sharp and let's me know what's happening around the world so I can shape the products I own to meet real world needs.

Proudest Atlassian answer: I've always enjoyed the business process side consulting / mentoring of my work. This answer forced me to condense advice on making the Agile journey less intimidating and mysterious.

When I need a break I step outside my back door and tend to my vegetable garden. Fresh air, fertile soil, and fresh vegetables are good for the soul.

No matter what I'm doing my 2nd best girl (after my wife) Bailey is hanging out with me (in this picture in my home office).

And here's my first girl and me at Ramsau am Dachstein in Austria:

Well I am producing morel ike hip-hop things, but trying to combine different genres lately, basically still making electronic genres though I have some music on soundcloud, but I don't think these are much presentable. About my introduction:

Where you're from

I'm from Brazil

What you do with your free time

I have a lot of non work interests. During my free time I enjoy traveling, spend time with family and friends, do some genetic research (I worked with bioinformatics in the past and sometimes I still help my old colleagues), play table top games or just relax with some Netflix or Amazon video series.

What you do with your work time

I work on a Research Institute where we develop some crazy ideas (RFID/Iot, Cloud computing, etc.) but, due some NDA's, I'm not allowed to give you more details.

I am a Software Developer Coordinator, teaching the Agile ways to the company (some project managers are tougher than others to convince). I am responsible for the people development and, because of my technical background, I always find myself doing some project analysis, software architecture or CI/CD integration.

Henning Tietgens

Hi,

I'm Henning from Germany. In my free time I'm trying to be with my family and to stay healthy and sometimes answering Atlassian community questions ;-).

At business I take care of our processes and Jira while being responsible for colleagues taking care of other tools.

I was answering a lot of questions because I learned lot about Jira through the community and want to give something back. Nowadays most of the time I'm more answering updates/comments to existing questions because of time constraints.

Henning

PD Sheehan

Lots of cool answers!

Nice to meet everyone.

I'm from Montreal, QC originally, but now based near Santa Barbara, CA

In my free time, I'm mostly a couch potato. Too much good tv to catch up on.

At work, I'm a "systems design engineer"... whatever THAT means. But ultimately, I'm admin/develop for many tools we user internally, including all the atlassian suite. I'm most happy when I'm writing groovy scripts for scriptrunner and helping others be more productive.

I used the community so much to learn about groovy scriptunner, that I felt it only natural to give back. I started answering a lot of the scriptrunner/groovy question last year during Summit (got inspired) and haven't stopped since.
