Howdy Atlassian Community members!
Let’s call this a summer “work-cation” question: What have you accomplished at work this summer that you’re proud of?
OR where/how did you vacation this summer? Tell us what you’ve been up to!
Bonus points if you have photo evidence…📸
I’ll go first: this summer I went to the Hollywood Bowl for the first time! I saw a Joe Hisaishi film concert with the LA Phil, where they showed clips of Studio Ghibli movies and played an excerpt from the score of the movie. It was such a great evening and the open air venue was amazing!

@Matthew Sinclair I respect your cert dedication! Kudos to you!!!
Alaska looks absolutely beautiful, enjoy your time there!
I was supposed to go to the Seattle Teamwork event and had to cancel due to a conflict. I was bummed! An Alaska trip is still on my To Do list.
Wow, what a cool venue and show, @Katie Lai - Seibert!!
We took a road trip from Wisconsin to Pennsylvania and then to Ohio back in June. It was a rally great time - starting with "glamping" in a cabin for a family reunion, followed by a stop in Pittsburgh (LOVE!), Cleveland area, and then to ride rollercoasters at Cedar Point. It felt like 3 trips in one - camping/big city/amusement park!
@Amanda Barber WOW this looks like a picture from a magazine ad, gorgeous! I want to swim in that waterfall, haha!
Woooow, @Katie Lai - Seibert ,
what a great concert - I love Studio Ghibli ♥️
It's definitely on my bucket list - along with attending a concert by Anna Lapwood and seeing the Stellenbosch University Choir perform one day.
I spent a week hiking in the Picos de Europa in Spain this year. Rugged and beautiful!
@Evelin Bayer - codefortynine What a stunning mountain range. You are making me jealous ;) Now I need to add this to my bucket list!!!
Doing Certs one by one. Besides. I don´t know, i don´t like to keep every year my schedule very tight.
@Katie Lai - Seibert - love this post!
✅ I've been able to attend / promote / host a number of in-person ACEs!
🏡 Kind of fun? I'm carving out time to plan my lodgings for Team '26 Europe... 👀
I love planning, I need to give myself time to do more of that.
Awesome!! ACEs are great since you get to travel and hangout with your work besties! Same with Team Europe.... are you excited for Amsterdam?!
This summer has been a nice mix of work and recharging for me 😊
On the work side, I’ve spent a lot of time around Atlassian, AI/Rovo, customer projects, and obtaining Atlassian certificates, so definitely a productive summer 💙
I also managed to get away to Italy for a proper vacation, which was exactly the reset I needed 🇮🇹☀️
