Throwback Thursday: oldest artifact by you in an Atlassian product? #TBT

It's Thursday!
giphy
The other day, a former colleague pointed out to me that there was still an old workflow, in the Jira Data Center I used to work on, with my name on it. Apparently, I am the last person to edit this particular workflow, almost 10 years ago! Check out this screenshot:

Sooooo tell us, what is the oldest artifact in an Atlassian product with your name on it?
Let’s make it a great Thursday!

Great question!

Since I did not setup our instance, I just looked at the oldest artifact which was created 5 years before I joined the company but the former VP of Development.

There is just a summary: "asdfasdf"

I will assume they were testing the first workflow they had created to see if everything was working as expected.

@Kristján Geir Mathiesen great find.

@Jimmy Seddon oh yes, all of the testing work items that were created in the early days of testing.

My first experience with Jira was two companies ago, and that would have been a standalone version of Jira, certainly not in the cloud.  Back in the day where I hadn't heard anything about Confluence, let alone an Atlassian Community and just needed a place to track our bugs.

So for me actually finding any artifacts would be impossible.  I probably would be finding one of my first posts here 2.5 years ago.

There's a comment from me in 20212 on the classic bug by MCB about Jira needing to support time zones

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-9?focusedId=326640&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel#comment-326640

but I'm sure there are other older ones going back to 2004 in jac somewhere.

What a fun thread - I'm pretty new to this scene, so I don't have any "old" artifacts (yet!) 🤪

Hi

The oldest thing that has my name is a maintenance project template, which although it has evolved, let's say that the structure is still used today.

Like @Amanda Barber, I haven't been using Atlassian products very long, but their might be some Confluence pages from 2020 with my name on them at my former company.

With my name on it > these ones would be relatively 'fresh' > 2020 at the earliest.

But, this nudged me to check what's the oldest object on all instances we're managing, and I believe this is the oldest one I could find (although I just hand-picked a few orgs). Pretty impressive considering I've thought most customers here started using Atlassian in 2015 at the earliest 👀

I think by this stage the code I committed to Marketplace is (hopefully) gone! And the developer forum theming was nearly 10 years old but now renewed too 🤗 So I'm not even sure at this point
