Rising Stars are recognized for providing high-quality answers to other users. Rising Stars receive a certificate of achievement and are on the path to becoming Community Champions.
Try setting up a Scavenger hunt and have the users find and use the various features. The would document where the found the feature and how to use it providing an example. Try to cover all of the really important features for your use-cases. You could create a template that has the scavenger hunt list using the Checklist feature. Each team member would create a page from the template in their home page or the Team page. Once the complete the hunt they would publish the page an @mention you. If you have different team skill levels you could place them in groups to create a level playing field. Sort of like how golf handicaps work.
You can make Confluence training fun with quick games: Scavenger Hunt: find pages, add comments, upload files. Bingo: cards with tasks like “mention a colleague” or “insert a table.” Page Challenge: teams create a page with text, images, and links. Speed Run: complete small tasks in a time limit. Keeps it engaging and hands-on!
Using simple games can make Confluence training much more engaging, especially when employees can learn by solving challenges and exploring features. I think the same approach works well for technical topics too—starting with a hands-on example and then explaining the basics, such as what is the jenny mod in minecraft, can make unfamiliar concepts easier to understand.
